By Kinsman designs contemporary pieces for confident, fashion forward women who value quality and are seeking an intimate one on one experience in the lead up to their wedding day. We believe confidence has nothing to do with size and everything to do with fit , with our craftsmanship we can tailor a perfect fit that elicits confidence, joy and comfort.

What to expect from your first consultation

Here at By Kinsman we offer two different services. The first is our Bespoke service, where if you love one of our samples, we take your measurements and make up the gown to your exact size. Upon completion, if there are further alterations or adjustments to be done, this is simply charged by the hour. Our Bespoke gowns range from $3,800 - $7,800.

The second service is a Couture process, where we are sketching, fabric sourcing and creating a design completely unique to you. With this process we like to do 4-5 fittings from our Hawthorn studio, to ensure everything is perfect. Our Couture gowns price range from $6,000-$12,000 which is inclusive of all fittings and GST.

Time line wise, we like to take your initial measurements 6 months prior to the big day. We find most brides lock everything in approximately 9-12 months in advance, but this is personal preference.

We offer obligation free consultations to come in and try the By Kinsman samples and go through any ideas you may already have about your gown. From there we see what suits you, what you like, and what you’re comfortable in. We are all about making you look and feel the best possible version of yourself.
